Upon his return to civilian life in the small Scottish town of Tannochbrae, Dr. Finlay finds himself treating the hearts of the citizens as well as their physical ailments, while dealing with the senseless bloodshed of what he witnessed in the war. Originally broadcast on BBC's MASTERPIECE THEATRE and based on the writings of author A.J.
