Ramis was so enamored with the town of Sodom that he just couldn't bear to have his subjects leave. And that's where the film bogs down.

The only consistently funny thing in the film is the fact that Michael Cera talks like someone from the 21st century and makes dark comments in his trademarked flat tone.
