Now while transformers is not a terrible movie it has flaws and seems for interested in love and action rather then oh i dont know plot? yeah for a bay movies theres more love then plot and action.Well the final part has alot of kick ass action.Well lets move along okay.
The plot:Bay pulled off a decent plot.Robot aliens come to earth and have a war.Autobots lead by Optimus Prime and Decepticons lead by Megatron.Simple and awesome.And sadly the love plot which makes me cry.Megan fox and shia laboufs stupid love plot is tied into this.I hate it slot much.Now for the record its not a terrible plot but is so annoying how they can keep a love plot when theres giant robots fighting!
the action:Damn is there some great action scenes.I will say theres a few moments when its just absurd and unnecesary but i dont mind a few explosions.From start to finish the action is solid and effective.Though i wish for some more explosive scenes.Well overall decent action.
FINAL VERDICT:Now sadly i rank this film a 4/10.The plot is good but love plot seems more in focus.The acting is okay but i hate the fact love>robot alien war!For now it has a place in my heart but it fails at plot.Bay make transformers 3 better.Over and out....oh and get the friggin theme song!

I have to disagree on this one. I rank my favorite movies of the year each year based solely on how much fun and enjoyment I had watching them and this movie took the number one spot for 2007. It was just awesome in my opinion. The Transformers themselves looked amazing on screen, new actress (at the time) Megan Fox looked amazing and while there was some scenes of a budding relationship, for me at least it did not distract from the action at all. If there was no human emotion element it would get panned for just being a movie about robots fighting. And yes I agree the action was amazing. The plot was basic but it was good enough for a big action movie. The funny thing is critcs are stupid because with this movie they thought the plot was too simple but then in the sequel where the plot was much more complex they hated the plot again saying it was too confusing. That just proves to me that some critics decide way ahead of time that they are not going to like a movie and then just make excuses why. I enjoyed the sequel quite a bit as well. Michael Bay is a love or hate em type of director and I love his big action movies. 'The Rock' is probably my favorite of his movies but actually this one is right up there with it! I can't wait for the third one!

I never made it through the whole movie. Could be because I started watching it at 4am. What I did see I thought was funny and entertaining. If it was good, I'll have to see it more awake to decide.
