Let's Watch Movies! Until We Can't Feel Feelings Anymore!™
![]() This isn't a remake. This is a reimagining. A few weeks ago while the old Let's Watch Movies! Until We Can't Feel Feelings Anymore!™ thread was still in its infancy and on a temporary leave of absense I called up Michael Bay and I was all "What in the blazing fires of heck am I going to do with this thread to make it better?" and he had some great ideas. It needed more explosions! More gyrating women! More feelings to lose! And most importantly more contributors! Because loneliness is a feeling too and reviewing movies can be a lonely business and that sort of defeats the whole purpose of not feeling feelings anymore. And then Gore Verbinski chimed in on the other line and he was all "Dude you need to work some sort of pirate metaphor into the part where you introduce the new LWM!UWCFFA!™ members." I thought that was a farking stupid idea but whatever I didn't have anything better. So I've assembled here a motley crew to set sail on our respective couches and armchairs and beanbags and other assorted seating arrangements across the remote and the more heavily traversed waters of cinema as we pursue our passions and obsessions with the medium. Give me that horizon. And give me that list of contributors! Birdie Num Nums Dade Devlin DaiKamonohashi getrhythm Leannan Mod Hip With varying degrees of frequency and infrequency, we will post reviews and other ramblings about movies for your reading pleasure, and hopefully for the pleasure of your company as well. All rants and ravings will be kept archived in this post for quick access, and also on a Tumblr. I think that's everything for now. This is going to be a very causal writing/discussion environment so I haven't the foggiest when the first post will even go up.

Much worse than the last thread. I much prefer it to the last thread. Let the tears flow.

YAY!
I'm not sure exactly what I'm doing, so I'll have to see what the others do first, then it's on like Donkey Kong.

Now let me get this straight, it’s the future, there’s no gasoline, but everyone’s driving around in cars. I don’t get it! NO STARS Three Men and a Baby (Nimoy, 1987) Not for the under-17, it’s a little surreal. But brilliant concept! It’s three men and then there’s a baby and they shouldn’t be with it! The title makes me laugh! FOUR STARS |

I swear I'm actually going to post here. And my other thread. Honest-to-God.
But this particular weekend I'll be too busy actually making movies to review anything. *cough*

I think he found out he never felt any feelings to begin with, so there was suddenly no reason to watch films until he felt no more feelings.

Apparently the man has raised expectations. This is always a bad things. He is now deflating the expectations. This is a wise thing. Soon he will re-inflate expectations. This is both a good and a bad thing. It's a terrible cycle. Always trust a man with good avatars - always.

Now, I would just like to point out that this thread is displaying a distinct tendency to become SILLY. Now, nobody likes a good laugh more than I do... except, perhaps my wife... and some of her friends. Oh, yes, and Captain Johnson. Come to think of it, most people like a good laugh more than I do, but that's beside the point! I'm warning this thread NOT to get SILLY again! Right!

I could find any champagne to break on this thread, and it's belated anyway, so I just brought some sparkling grape juice in a kiddie size box. Is that cool?
