I'm going to the Smackdown/ECW taping tomorrow night....I'm hoping for some classic Jericho.

And as for Ozzy, at least it makes sense when he mispronounces people's names. He's made a living of talking without making sense.

Have fun, man. Hopefully the show won't suck as much as it has in recent weeks.

Yeah, being functionally retarded is part of his charm.

Watching Ozzy and Sharon tonight was more painful than I remember it from their reality show.

On the upside, they aren't those Nascar douches from last week. A vegetative John Graziano could probably cut a better promo than either of those two.

The sounds he was making after that powerbomb on the outside were, um, interesting.

"We beat each other all the time!"

A triple threat match where all the participants get along...how thrilling.

The October 29 edition of TNA iMPACT on Spike TV scored a 1.3 cable rating, with an average audience of 1.7 million viewers up against the Major League Baseball World Series. TNA was ranked #2 in the Males 18-49 demographic among basic cable networks, with a 1.10 in that demo -- their highest since April of this year. The footage of Hulk Hogan's press conference was the lowest rated segment of the show, while the trend of Scott Steiner being in the highest rated segment continued. This was TNA’s largest average audience since July. Here is a complete breakdown of the quarter-hour ratings:

Q1: 1.21 - Kurt Angle/Desmond Wolfe promo; AJ/Joe promo
Q2: 1.27 - Tara vs. Alyssa Flash; Team 3D promo
Q3: 1.26 - Machine Guns vs. 3D; Steiner promo; Young vs. Lashley
Q4: 1.30 - Young vs. Lashley; Steiner run-in; Nash promo; AJ/Daniels promo
Q5: 1.24 - The Beautiful People vs. Christy Hemme & Hamada
Q6: 1.19 - Abyss vs. Dr Stevie; Matt Morgan vs. Rhino
Q7: 1.24 - Samoa Joe/Daniels promo; Homicide attacks Don West; Kurt promo
Q8: 1.18 - Kurt Angle vs. Desmond Wolfe; Hogan press conference
Scott Steiner > Hulk Hogan

EDIT: Oh, and Donald Trump's involvement in WWE had a bigger impact on RAW's ratings than Hogan's involvement in TNA had on Impact's ratings.

Didn't Trump's involvement also cause the E's stockholders to sell like crazy?

That's just because they really believed that McMahon had actually sold RAW.

Some of you might want to check out Superstars this Thursday. Santino actually gets a win.

Weee...I'm in on the first page this time!

I dunno bros, I'm trying to force myself to get interested in the rasslin' again but it hasn't been easy. A decade ago I used to plan my whole social life around WWE (and to an extent, WCW) programming--couldn't stand to miss a show. Nowadays, I'm lucky if I can remember the damn thing's on. The Benoit thing turned me off for a long time (several years) and after coming back it seems the thrill is missing. Same old fueds, week after week--even when the participants change it's still the same mediocre stories. Even with my main man Undertaker back in the mix, I'm still bored. The celebrity guests were fun for a little while but got old pretty darn quick. Vince really needs to shake things up somehow...
